Tried making bacon and I basically created a cloud of smoke throughout the kitchen and dining room. Had to open all the doors and windows. Problem solved.. but still. Then broiled grapefruit with brown sugar on it. The brown sugar went to the bottom of the oven and was boiling there. So after the long struggle of making what should have been simple food - we ate, it was delicious. Oh, and never let me cut a grapefruit in half, because I suck at that.
